It was a toss up between calling this piece Chasing the Wind and Spit for Luck, but I thought the former was a bit more suitable. It's inspired by the novel, "the wise man's fear" by Patrick Rothfuss. It is an immense novel that I would recommend to any fan of fantasy novels. This is the part when Kvothe and Elodin are chatting on the bridge to Imre. I'm not entirely sure if it is described like this in the book, but its how i saw it so i painting it :)

Characters and novel belong to Patrick Rothfuss

Yay, I love this book! Nice depiction of this scene :)

There's a Kingkiller Chronicles fan art group here on deviantART you might want to check out: [link] Pat Rothfuss has a deviantART account ([link]) and looks at all the art in the group.

Lol glad you like. The intention was to look like he was a bit too close to the end so I'm glad you think he does!

I loved "The Name of the Wind". Haven't got my hands on this novel yet, but I can't wait. Your work on the foliage and mountains is beautiful.
